Wedding Wednesday: Cute Cakes!

Travis and I both have a major sweet tooth, so I’ve definitely been having lots of fun looking at wedding cakes online.  Check out these pretty ones, and give me some suggestions for ours!

(I’m so bad— I don’t know where these two inspiration photos came from!)

I also love the idea of doing a cake table with a bunch of smaller cakes, like this one.

What do you think of these yummy looking cakes?  What are your favorite flavors?  If you’re married, tell me what your cake was like!  If you haven’t walked down the aisle yet, what do you envision for your big day?

And don’t forget about the giveaway!  You can enter by clicking HERE!

Hey, love! You should get cupcakes from an amazing bakery in Napa (they also have locations in Cotati and Santa Rosa) called Sift http://www.siftcupcakery.com most amazing cake EVER! That way you could have multiple flavors for guests (and you) to choose from. I recommend the Pink Champagne (raspberry cake with champagne buttercream) and lemon (lemon cake with lemon buttercream filled with lemon curd). Seriously!

Having Jymmy’s mom around (who makes wedding cakes for a living) means I get to try EVERY flavor numerous times. I get to see so many awesome cakes come out of her shop, it’s going to be so hard deciding what I want when the time finally comes! But I will be staying far away from fondant! That stuff is SO gross!

    Hi Kim,
If the wedding will be in Santa Cruz County, I have a connection for GREAT wedding cakes at a very reasonable price. Let me know, if you want more info.
    With Love and Blessings,

Kim, if you are looking for an amazing place to get your cake done I would recommend Just Cake by Gayle’s Bakery in Capitola. My sister got her wedding cake done by them and it was the coolest looking and best tasting wedding cake I have ever had. It was bright orange and super cool (her colors were bright sunset orange, a super bright pink, and bright grass green) Check out their website http://www.justcake.com/flash_index.php , and good luck with the cake hunting.
