I have always loved Autumn… it is by far my favorite season.  For one, the weather in California is always best in September and October (although, we don’t get the pretty fall leaves in the same way that you lucky East Coast ladies do!)  Growing up, I loved Fall because my birthday always lands on either the first or second day of the season.  But there’s one reason why I’m really looking forward to it this year…

I want— no, NEED— a cool new pair of fall boots.

Okay, I don’t need them.  But I am so amped on all the cute styles in stores right now.  And there are a few pairs in particular that I’m totally into.

These Dorado Riding Boots from Frye are $498 and way out of my budget.  But a girl can dream, right?

Fortunately, I found a very cute alternative by Madden Girl for just $89 at Macy’s!  (These also come in black.)

And I’m also into the shorter styles like this pair by Nine West, available at Zappos for $98.

I’m having a hard time rationalizing a purchase like this because I won’t get to wear them as much as I’d like to.  Cosmetology school starts on Monday, which means I’ll be spending the next 12 months in maroon scrubs and black leather Danskos.  But it doesn’t make me want these cool kicks any less… so, we’ll see!
