How To Make The Yummiest Salad EVER!

Seriously, this will even make salad-haters reconsider…  and, bonus: it’s SO easy to make once you have all the ingredients on hand.

Here’s what you’ll need:

-a bag of leafy greens

-a green apple

-dried cranberries

-candied pecans

-crumbled gorgonzola cheese

-balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Step 1: Pour a few tablespoons of the balsamic into the bowl before you add the other ingredients (about 2 tbsp. per serving).  My mom taught me this great trick— it keeps the salad from getting soggy and over-doused in dressing after the fact!

Step 2: Add the leafy greens next, followed by the toppings (about 1/8 cup of each topping per serving).

Step 3: Toss & enjoy!

This salad is my go-to for diner parties because it’s always such a hit.  And lately, I’ve been keeping all of the ingredients on hand and making individual servings for myself at lunchtime!  It’s super hearty and oh-so-easy.  Try it out, and let me know what you think!

    I made this salad on Tuesday! I love it, but we put in feta not gorgonzola cheese, but I bet it is great with Gorgonzola too! Thanks for sharing!
