Happy Monday, sweet readers!  Did everyone have a good weekend?  I spent Saturday night celebrating my friend’s birthday with a yummy dinner, and enjoyed the opportunity to dress up a little bit, since I wear scrubs 45 hours a week!

I chose to accessorize my outfit with an oversize grey chiffon flower from Anthropologie.  Take a look:

I love wearing headbands and flowers, but I’ve never actually worn one this large before.  At first, I wasn’t totally sure I could pull it off.  But you know… I like it!

I think the trick to getting this look right is keeping it simple with the rest of your accessories.  And a tip for those of you who plan on trying out an oversize headpiece: bobby pin your hair into place first.  If you try to hold your hair back using the flower/bow/etc… itself, it will weigh itself down and fall right off your head!
