Have A Delightful Weekend!

What are you up to this weekend?  Travis and I are watching a friend compete in a rowing competition!  I’ve never watched one before, but they sound pretty intense— our friend is racing in the SF bay, so it should be a beautiful view.

Let’s kick off the weekend with some fun finds from around the web, shall we?

My dream dessert.

This clever ensemble looks like a skirt, but is actually a full dress!

A free download of this adorable DIY save the date.

LOVE this statement necklace.

I’m seriously swooning over this tiered dessert stand.

These wooden bangles are perfection.

Apparently murphy beds can be totally chic! (Who knew?!)

Wish I had a claw foot tub and this cute shower curtain.

A striped knapsack is the perfect summer accessory…

DIY button kit!

Audrey Hepburn nails.

I adore mismatched bridesmaids.

This photo makes me miss having long hair…

These guys rock!

What are your plans this weekend?  Doing anything extra fun?  Got a fun link of your own to share?  Tell me about it in the comments!

Are “save the dates”, the actual invitation for the wedding? Or is it the first heads up that someone got engaged and getting married soon? Do people need separate invitations for engagement showers and bridal showers?! So many invitations! How did you do it?

@Cynthia: Save the dates aren’t the official invitation, they’re just a way of letting guests know that you’ve picked a date for their wedding, so they can make plans to be there on that date. These are all great questions. I’ll break it down on the blog this coming Wedding Wednesday :)
