I think I’ve finally recovered from my baby shower this past Sunday… what a day!  LOTS of women, lots of beautiful details, and lots of love for our sweet babe.  The shower was held at my parent’s house (the same place we got married!) and my mom went all out with the girly cuteness.  She made all of the food and the majority of the decor herself.  Want to see some photos?

Now that the shower is over, it really feels like baby girl’s arrival is imminent!  I can’t believe I could give birth in as little as 6 weeks… yikes!!

We leave Italy tomorrow *tear*, but Sunday is my birthday and we plan to transition back into the real world by celebrating with brunch and a lazy city day.  It could certainly be worse :)  Plus, tomorrow marks the first day of fall (my FAVORITE season!)

This weekend ended up being 1000% more amazing than I ever could have anticipated!  Rather than going to the Wizard of Oz singalong, like I had originally planned, I rushed down to Santa Cruz to witness the birth of my cousin’s beautiful baby girl, Dylan Marie!

Isn’t she a doll?  Watching her birth was one of the most exciting things I’ve ever experienced!  I’ve only been away a day and I already miss her beautiful face!

I took about a million photos of her on Saturday and it got me thinking about all the childhood photos that were taken of me and Travis.  My mother-in-law has been pulling out some old pictures lately, and I’ve had so much fun looking through them!  I mean seriously, how cute was my hubby?

(I’m really hoping that our future kids take after his side of the family, haha.)  Here are a couple of kiddy photos of me, just for fun…
