Back On The Web

Sorry I disappeared from cyberspace last week, sweet readers.  My sweet, wonderful, silly, beautiful grandmother passed away suddenly and I didn’t have the space in me to write.  I’ve missed you all, though.  I love my little blog community :)

p.s. my mother just read this and thought that the terrifying/hilarious dog photos somehow reminded me of Grandma and I feel the need to say that NO my grandmother did NOT look like a dog shaking off water :)  but the photos did make me smile.

    Kim, I’m so sad for you about your Grandmother. I hope that the pain eases over time, but that her memory is with you forever. Wishing you and your family the best.

    So very sorry to hear about your loss, Kim. I think it’s harder to process when the death is sudden and unexpected. Hope you have many wonderful memories and not too many regrets (I should have… I wish I’d taken the time to…etc) And I understand your absence from your blog — pulling together a memorial service is a lot like planning a wedding, but with only a week to prepare rather than months!

    @cathy: no regrets, just wishing i could see her one more time. this was my mother’s mother… a different grandma than rachel & nat’s (although she was very much a part of their lives anyway)
