Travis and I could NOT be more excited about this Glamour photo shoot because we’re turning it into a mini-vacation!  (And also because it’s a GLAMOUR PHOTO SHOOT!)  If you haven’t noticed, I am super pumped.

Neither of us have been to New York before, and we want to fit in as much as possible in the few days we’ll be there.  So we need your help!

Whether you’ve lived in New York or just visited, we’d love your input:

-If you had to choose your favorite NYC museum, which do you like best?

-Any favorite places to eat?

-The best spot you’ve found in Central Park?

-Any touristy places that are NOT worth visiting?

We’re staying in the heart of the city, so we should be able to get all over the place pretty easily.  (Bonus points for budget-friendly options!)

It’s okay… so am I.

I don’t know what it is about hair, but it’s so easy to let one style define your look.  For a while, I stuck to straight, long hair.  Then I wore it wavy a lot of the time.  Soon, I bought some little claw clips and wore it half-up nearly every day.  Sadly, now I stick mostly to ponytails.

I’m sure Jennifer Aniston and I are not alone… so fess up!

As many of you know by now, my dream is to write for Glamour Magazine.  I have loved them for years, and I am so completely honored to say that I get to be a part of one of their upcoming issues!

I won’t be writing for them—yet!—I’ll be modeling!  In just two weeks, I’ll be flying out to New York City and participating in a bridal makeover-type photo shoot.

Of course, I’ll document my entire journey for the blog, and I’ll be sure to let you know when the mag hits stands!

It finally felt like Fall in the Bay Area this weekend.  It was foggy and rainy and fabulous! Travis and I drove to Half Moon Bay to enjoy the Pumpkin Festival and pick out some pumpkins of our own!

That’s pretty much where the Hallowen spirit ends for me.  I love fall, I love pumpkin bread and hot tea and sweaters, and I love buying a bunch of sale-priced candy on November first. But I’m not super into dressing up or watching scary movies, and I am certainly not going trick-or-treating.

Don’t get me wrong, the moment we have kids I will be back in spirit, but I don’t really think Halloween is a holiday for grown-ups.

I know plenty of 20-somethings who would hate me for saying that, and I’m curious which category you fall into.
