15 Weeks

So, it looks like the universe is making us wait a little longer to find out the gender of our sweet baby.  Our new appointment is for tomorrow, so hopefully baby will cooperate and we’ll get our answer!

In slightly more exciting news, it seems the baby had a major growth spurt this week.  I woke up a few days ago and my belly had grown overnight!

How far along? 15 Weeks
Baby is the size of: A naval orange
Total weight gain: I’m down 3.5 lbs… slowly gaining some weight back!
Gender: We find out tomorrow hopefully
Name: Still throwing out ideas.  Still no closer to actually picking one.
Maternity Clothes: Still loving my maternity pants; no need for anything else yet.
Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: I’ve taken a nap every day this week… something must be going on in there!
Movement: I felt my first little flutters this week!  I’m still not feeling movement regularly, but it was so exciting to experience that for the first time.
Best moment this week: Feeling the baby was definitely the highlight :)
Miss Anything: I miss being able to sleep through the night.  Between getting up to pee and all the little aches and pains, I haven’t been able to sleep as well.  (Maybe that’s why I’ve been napping so much!)
Belly button in or out? In
Food cravings: All strawberries all the time!
Anything making you queasy or sick: I usually just feel queasy when I’m really tired or have over-done it during the day
Labor Signs: nope, although I did have my first Braxton-Hicks contraction this week
Symptoms: I’m having more and more aches and pains, lots of tiredness, and I’m peeing constantly
Wedding ring on or off? On!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I’ve been pretty darn happy this week, but I had a few moody/random-hormonal-crying moments
Looking forward to: Getting our ultrasound tomorrow (finally!)

P.S. Check back here this afternoon for a beyond-awesome giveaway!
